We are moving 888bux from the Watch List to the Scam List, and here are our reasons why:
1. Cashouts - For many weeks the site had cashouts restricted and only a few could cashout. The site has now changed its cashouts policy and now members have to wait up to 30 days to receive their payment. This is a sign that the site does not have the funds to pay everyone and is waiting for income from upgrades to pay their members.
People are also reporting that the site is canceling cashouts. Which is not acceptable and the main reason for moving them to the Scam List.
2. Whois Private - Unknown ownership.
3. Ads & Click Rates - Now the site has dropped the ad count and rate per click. At the time of this update, we had 4 ads and both were $0.001 per click. This site opened as a "bux" site. Not an Aurora site. At least Aurora's have more ads. This site only gives standards 4 ads!!
It would take over 500 days to reach the minimum cashout. 4. No Referral Earnings? - They have changed how a standard member earns from their downline. Which is now zilch.

Wast of time to promote the site if you are not even going to be paid for it.

- After 30 days of inactivity, your account will be temporarily suspended and permanently suspended after 60 days of inactivity. An inactive user for 72 hours after registration will have the account permanently suspended.
- The minimum amount paid is $2.00 on the first cashout. This amount will increase by $1.00 for each cashout until it reaches a fixed minimum amount of $10.00. A fee will be charged depending on the payment processor you use
- Launch date June 1st, 2010
Users can only have direct referrals after being a member for at least 30 days and having at least 100 clicks. Any attempts to get them before that will fail

Summary:
888bux has turned into a site where standards have no chance of earning. The site obviously doesn't have the means to pay their debts and is trying make members feel they have no choice but to upgrade. Site will remain on the Scam List till old debts are paid in full.
We would not recommend 888bux for the reasons previously described in our review. We consider it a huge investment risk and not site fit for standard members. Use caution if you plan on using it. You were warned...
