Site has been down for over a week now and the same message is being displayed:
..."we will be back 24 to 48hrs".
Of course now people are screaming "DISPUTE" and SCAM since the site is not returning within the time frame they indicated and there is no new update. In return for the lack of action, I am sure the site is getting hit with paypal & alertpay disputes. Since the site is still down without any new update, we moving the site to the Scam List .

Here are the pros & cons of this site:
PROS:
1. Forum - This site does have a forum. Forums are great for communication between members and staff. Members can post payment proofs, get support, and stay up to date on changes made to the site. You can find their forum here: http://www.buxstones.com/forum.php
2. Paying - They are paying and payment proofs can be found on the forum and throughout the web. We were paid as well:

3. Decent Direct Referral Limits - Currently standards can have up to 50 direct referrals. Great for promoters and those who can refer a lot of people.
4. Instant Payments - A great option for any site to have. No more waiting days or weeks for something you rightfully earned.
5. SSL Secure - Extra added layer of security to help secure your data.More Info
6. Registered Company - This does not insure the site will not
scam, but it is positive step. Note that there are sites that have
registered and have gone scam. So do not put too much faith in a site
that is a registered company. It is only a positive and that the owner
might be serious about running his/her site.
CONS:
1. New Site - We do not recommend investing or
buying upgrades on new sites. For at least 6 months, if not a year. If
you can't wait that long, at least test and get paid first before you
decide to invest.
The main reason
why we see this as a downside is due to the large number of new sites
that go through many sudden changes during their first 6 months. Changes
anywhere from rates per click, payment processor issues (paypal
limitations), and payment wait times. New sites notorious for changing
their terms. Why we do not recommend investing on new sites.
2. A "Bux" Site - This type of ptc has a very high fail rate. Most "bux" sites go scam under 6 months, if not within a year. Most rely on upgrades and rental purchases rather than actual advertisers. A typical "bux" site will show fixed/self-sponsored ads, sell rentals, and have a higher rate per click. This type of business model is not very successful and unsustainable, which is probably why most "bux" sites fail.
3. Whois Private - Unknown ownership.
4. Rate Per Click Changed Without Notice or Update - Both
sites BuxStones and Buxpedia all the sudden started to show $0.005 ads
instead of $0.01. Which is causing quite a stir. Especially if they
don't announce the changes. As we stated in "cons" #1 it is common for
new sites to make abrupt changes. Why we don't recommend investing on
them.
5. Excessive Downtime - Site has been down for over a week without any update. Which is why it is now on the Scam List.
Some Things You Should Know About This Site...
- Earlier I had a problem trying to register on their sister site. Due to a lot of
cheaters the site has disabled registrations from these locations:
"Taiwan, China, HongKong, Macao, Thailand" also some IP ranges
are currently blocked. From my understanding they are working on adding
extra security features so they can allow registrations from those
locations again.
- Those who are not posting their payments proofs, will be removed from Instant Payment System and will be paid Manually and the waiting days will be 7 days.
- Avg Daily Earnings w/out referrals : $0.042 +/-
- Referral Earnings : $0.0025
