clockpay.net - SCAM

Scam Site use caution! Here are the combined reasons why they are on our scam list:
Full Review / Site Historyclockpay.net will be the very first site hosted by "
getpaidsolutions" that has shown that it DID pay. Of course unlike other "
getpaidsolutions"
site, they are offering a rate per click that is sustainable for the
site. However, the site has changed it policies repeatedly. Which makes
the site unstable to use.
We are moving them from our Watch List to our Scam List and here are our reasons why:

1. Complaints - Received several complaints by email and in the comment section about this site not letting members
cashout. They are now required to upgrade if they don't meet the site's requirements. They now have this in their terms:
|
| Free membership accounts are monitored and
continously extended in monthly (30 days) intervals providing the
account meets all or most of the following requirements: |
|
| a) Member account is in good standing and in non-violation of these Terms Of Service. |
| b) Member account is considered to be active and not abandoned. |
| c) Member account is providing accurate and verifiable contact information of the account holder. |
| d) Member account is providing accurate payment information for withdrawals. |
| e) Member account balances are accurate in relation to actions/tasks performed by member. |
| f) Member account is active in relation to inviting or introducing others to the ClockPay.net website. |
| g) Member account is contributing with monetary value to the overall performance of the website. |
If a free membership account does not meet all or most
requirements as described in section 3.3.3 it will expire after no less
than 30 days. ClockPay.net reserves the right to determine if a free
membership has expired according to section 3.3.3 at its sole
discrection.
If a free membership has expired according to
sections 3.3.3 and 3.3.4, member holds the exclusive right to revoke
any expiration of their membership account within 90 days by upgrading
to a paid membership in accordande with the current conditions posted
on the ClockPay.net website.
ClockPay.net reserves the
right to prompt upgrade, deny, limit or remove account access for
member at any time if the requirements in section 3.3.1 to 3.3.6 are
not fulfilled.
Which is not what the site initially had for their policy or in their terms. Check
our screen shot of the terms and now compare it with
the current TOS.
Yes,
they can change their terms, but when it is frequently and often then
it makes it hard for members to use the site since they never know what
to expect.
Here is the notice another member received:
"Oh no! Your free membership has just expired. In order to continue using our services without further interruptions, please upgrade your free membership to a ClockVip membership™ to re-activate your account status. Our upgraded ClockVip membership™ is packed with tons of exciting benefits such as increased earning oppurtunities,
free referrals, free banner advertising and much, much more. Please
visit our upgrade section to learn more about all benefits.
Remember,
your account is not lost yet! You will keep all earnings and any
referrals that you have made up until today, as well as all other
benefits by completing the upgrade within 90 days."

http://a.imageshack.us/img52/5084/bloggerblogbackuppostac.jpg2. Forum? - For whatever the reason is, whether lack of staffing, time to manage
one, or spam.. this site does not have a forum. Forums are a excellent
tool for every PTC/GPT site to have. Members can post proofs and have a
open line of communication between staff and other members. This one
does not have one.
3. Hosted by GetPaidSolutions - This host is known for many scam site. You can't always judge a site by it's host, but
getpaidsolutions
sites have been known for hosting many scam sites. When you try to
contact the host in regards to obvious scam sites they ignore all
requests and emails. Some people may not use this site if they find out
that this is being hosted by this company.
4. Too Many Changes - First they had no min payout, then they changed it to $2 min to cashout, now they have changed it to that you can only cashout using libertyreserve or perfectmoney.
The fees alone to convert those currencies would be murder. This site
does not pay enough in order to pay someone to exchange those rates.
Too many changes make the site unstable and makes members unsure about the site. This is a big issue for this site.
Summary:ClockPay was paying at the start, however the site owner changed their policies too frequently and many are not getting paid. We
will no longer endorse or recommend this site. Use at your own risk.
If anyone would like to share their
experience that they had with this site, whether it is good or bad,
feel free to do so in our comment section at the end of this review.
OLD UPDATES
Update (March
11, 2010) - Moving the site to the watch list. Receiving several
complaints about the site requiring members to upgrade in order to be
paid. The site is constantly changing their policies. We will not longer
endorse or recommend this site .
Update: (Jan 28, 2010) Yet again, they change their cashout methods. Paypal is back and so are other methods. Since the site is making changes frequently they will remain on the ongoing list.
Update: (Jan 27, 2010) No longer Site has change their cashout methods now. You can only cashout with LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney.
Basically useless to even use such methods. Unless you like having to
deal with with these conversion sites in order to receive your money.
With so many changes in such short time we are removing them off the
legit list to the ongoing list.
Update: (Jan 25, 2010)
Site has changed it
cashout policies and added some new ways to
cashout.
They also added a option where you can purchase referrals. Not sure if
this is a good idea or not. Since they are only allowing purchases
through
LibertyReserve,
which has a no charge back policy. Means once you pay this person, your
money is gone. The site will remain on our legit list ...for now.
