We are moving EvolutionBux from the Watch List to the Scam List. Site has returned after being offline for over week however complaints about non-payments were starting to show. Also the site is now down for many days and owner has been less active on both sites (evoptc.net). See "cons" section for more info.

PROS:

1. Forum - This site does have a forum. Forums are great for communication between members and staff. Members can post payment proofs, get support, and stay updated on changes made to the site. You can find their forum here: http://evolutionbux.com/forum/

CONS:

1. New Site - We do not recommend investing or buying upgrades on new sites. For at least 6 months, if not a year. If you can't wait that long, at least test and get paid first before you decide to invest.

2. Down Time - Site was offline for over a week. Why it was moved to the Watch List previously.  Site will remain on the Ongoing Investigations List for another week and if site stays online without any problems it will be moved back to the Legit List.

3.  A "Bux" Site - This type of ptc has a very high fail rate. Most "bux" sites go scam under 6 months, if not within a year. Most rely on upgrades and rental purchases rather than actual advertisers. A typical "bux" site will show fixed/self-sponsored ads, sell rentals, and have a higher rate per click. This type of business model is not very successful and  unsustainable, which is probably why most "bux" sites fail.

4. Owner Inactive & Non-Payments - On both sites (evoptc.net) and this site, the owner has become less active. He shows up and then disappears for a week at a time. Complaints in the forum about non-payments are starting to show as well.

5. No Longer Paying - The owner of this site is not paying, but their mod is on their other site. Which is way beyond their duty and a very generous action from their mod. The owner however has not made any attempt to address the non-payment issue, nor has he responded to his very own mod. Which is not a good sign and why the site will be moved to the Scam List.

6. Site Down - Has been down for almost a week here. At least for us. Keep getting "server not found" error.

Summary:

EvolutionBux was a paying site, however payments seem to have stopped and the owner is no longer active as he use to be. As of now they site will remain on the Scam List for the reasons previously described.
