Looking at this site and all you can think of is SVBux. Thinking to oneself and asking why would anyone want to start the same site over again? It can't be...but then again it is April fools day. We all have to be a fool to fall head over heals for this site! For those of you that are wondering....SvBux was closed down due to heavy DDoS attacks and chargebacks back in Nov 2009.

Then to top it off there are those who are saying that this is indeed the same owner. On the HatBux forum no one is disputing this. People are even happy about it! SvBux closing was a controversial one. Some say it was a blatant scam, and others did not think it was. We added it to our "Closed" list and not the scam list due to NeoBux and their participation in refunding some members from SvBux. But still...I have to ask, what is going to be different this time around? What about DDoS attacks? And if people start to file chargebacks? What then?

We have tested and watched this site for over 3 months now. We are moving HatBux to the scam list and here are the combined reasons why they are on our scam list.:

1. Cashout Disabled ! - Since May 5th the cashout system has been disabled. When we tried to cashout it says "Maintenance try later". As of today (May 19th) same problem.

Hello there everybody.

As some of you may know, widthdrawls to Payza (formerly known as AlertPay) are not working properly. It is saying money sent however no money is received. This is a known issue. We've had some problems with users trying to cheat the system - the script has decided to malfunction, however the cheaters got no money.

If you have withdrawn money via Payza (formerly known as AlertPay) and you've not received it then please open a support ticket with the amount, date and AP email.

We are very sorry about this, we are trying to fix this error ASAP.

We may have a nice trick up our sleeve to say sorry.

Thanks for your trust & support.

2. Censorship - Go the their forum and you will see a lot of people getting banned for complaining about non payments. As long as they do not curse or be disrespectful toward staff there should be no reason for banning and deleting these posts on the forum. See image: http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/2417/hatbuxhatsofftohatbuxfo.jpg

3. SvBux - We have already discussed this at the top of our review. The site has a moderator with a user name "SvBux", the site is using the same domain registrant as SvBux did, and lets not forget that they are using the same script as SvBux.

4. Whois Private - Owner hiding identity.

5. HieBux ? - Site is gone and now redirects to HatBux. No referral link of any kind is found on this redirect page. Some sites when they are closed will just have their referral link redirect to their favorite site to get referrals. This one doesn't have one. Might be a employee at HatBux that might be doing this. 9 times out of 10 it is the owner.  HieBux is on our scam list for abandonment.

Some Things You Should Know About This Site...

  • You need to accumulate at least $5.00 for your 2nd Payment Request and $10.00 for your 3rd.

 Summary:

Site is not paying. At least from our experience and many others are reporting the same on the forum. They stated that cashouts would be open a few days ago, but that time has come and gone. We would not recommend HatBux for the reasons previously described. Use at your own risk.

If anyone would like to share their experience that they had with this site, whether it is good or bad, feel free to do so in our comment section at the end of this review.

Please note, the information in the review was posted at the time and date from above. If the site changes its policies, please kindly let us know in the comment section and we will update or change the incorrect information as soon as we can.
