pplinx.com - Is it a Scam? | Not Recommended
First thing you should know is that PPLinx is currently paying and at one time was on our Legit. Ok so you might ask why is this site not recommended? Unfortunately due to the owner's history and recent involvement with other sites, we can no longer recommend his site according to our requirements which states that any owner that has owned or have been an admin for other non paying sites are not eligible for the Legit List (or any other list). Basically any owner that has ran over 2 scams within the past 2 years will not be recommended by us, whether or not they have one site that is currently paying. The reason for this rule being in place is due to many owners that carelessly open risky sites and then stop paying once the site starts to fail.
You can read the full details and both sides of the story in the "cons" section below. Here are the pros & cons of pplinx.com:
1. Forum - This
site does have a forum. Forums are great for communication between
members and staff. Members can post payment proofs, get support, and
stay updated on changes made to the site. You can find their forum here:
2. Paying - They
are paying and payment proofs can be found on the forum and throughout
the web. Here are a few places where you can view these proofs:
3. Unlimited Direct Referrals - There are no limits on how many referrals you can have. Great for promoters and those who can refer a lot of people.
4. Established - Site is over 3 years old and still paying.
1. Earn.bz - Earn.bz
is no longer and many claim it was a scam. There is a debate over
whether or not earn.bz "scammed" or was just a failed business. "Bux"
sites are harder to sustain and this is not the first "bux" he has been involved in. See links below for more info.

The owner's explanation & his side of the story:
Yes, we failed. I do not belive that the
business model was a fail, earn.bz was never a bux. It never sold bots
so it didn't steal thousands of dollars and run away. But we had
problems with our servers, overheated database, horrible script, hacking
etc etc. At the end paypal also got suspended (perfect!). We started
generate good revenue from selling the mini ads but it was already too
late. I take full responsibillity for Earn.bz failure, it was a good try
but it failed like the rest." Source
2. FaveBux - The owner of PPLinx is to believed to be the same owner of FaveBux. Payments were sent by the PPLinx owner, and when the site stopped paying the site was placed for sale without notice and currently on the Not Recommended List for being down for over 7 days. See review for more info:
The owner's explanation & his side of the story:
I still don't know where you got this info
from. Favebux was always owned by revbux admin. This is why I hate you
and your "investigation". You listened to random anonymous comments and
you belived them. Congratulations. I didn't earn a penny from favebux, I
never answered any support tickets there, not even a forum post simply
because that site was not owned by me and everyone who is a member of my
site can/could easily see a big difference between how I run PPlinx and
how Favebux was run." (Source) & (Source#2)
3. TeaBux -
Also this site was also showing payments sent from this owner. He stated that he only helped
with the payments. Later he announced he is now the full time owner and
started to reset members balances on this site. We believe he was the
owner all along and just using this "new owner" status to stop paying
and to reset balances. Later the site eventually closed and he claims he made all pending payments about a month later after closure.

I took over Teabux and spent around
$1000-$2000 to pay members and to keep the site online. Site had serious
financial problems and I'm not a big fan of resetting websites. So I
wanted to restart it in a way so that members will get something back
for their hard work or earning. I emailed the top earners and offered
them a deal, often it was 50% cash and 50% of their account balance
converted to ads. Belive it or not, all of them accepted the offer as
the site was having serious problems and they knew about it. The minimum
was $3 at that time if I'm not wrong? So for the rest who had over $3
in balance, I converted it to ads manually in database (must have taken
hours). The members with less than $3 in account balance got their
balance reset to $0.5 so that they wouldn't start from 0. Now that was a
BUX site and the chaos started. Members spammed everywhere that it was
scam, this blog labeled it as scam, I even got some death threats
because some one couldn't cashout $3 at a bux site... Oh god, you should
have seen those emails.
Today, teabux is still paying but
I'm not as active there as I am at PPlinx. I do, however, try to be more
active there now but it's really hard as that site doesn't have the
same loyal members as PPlinx has. I can also understand why, I scared
many away because I had to make hard decisions unlike on PPlinx where I
once paid out hundreds of dollars extra when there was a referral
earning bug in the script etc. But I'm trying to convert it to a more
advertiser friendly site and less bux. I think more than a year has now
passed since you labeled PPlinx and Teabux as scam yet they are still
paying." (Souce) & (Source #2)

So does pplinx pay? For now it does, but the owner has proven to be unreliable and very deceptive about his dealings with other sites. You see, when you run sites and they end up scamming then some think you are unreliable. PPLinx is an aurora site, so it is more stable than the other sites this owner has been involved in or ran. However we can not recommend this site at this time.
The Future? You may ask what will we do if this site continues to pay and the owner stops opening risky sites? Well, 2 years from the date of his last site will re-evaluate this site's status. Which will make it eligible in August 2014 (the date that teabux shut down). But the owner has to stop running these risky sites that end up closing or scamming people. He is young and people make stupid mistakes, but he has to prove to us and those who were scammed by him, that he has learned his lesson. And till that happens, this site will remain on the Not Recommended List...
