This is my last update on this site and the review. The site is useless now and will become a dead site.

To sum up what happened to these two sites ....

Basically what happened is their paypal account was limited on MatrixMails. They were not able to get it back. Their solution, open another site under new company name and use their 10 year history and trust to draw in people to PTCBox. Which naturally everyone gave them the benefit of the doubt.  They had 10 years on their side, so why not? PayPal never returned to MatrixMails despite them indicating it would. No update was given (unless you searched their forum). So people opted to use PTCBox and MatrixMails died a slow death.

PTCBox fully launched with all these upgrades available and high personal earnings. Later they decided to go with a "bux" model and encouraged everyone to upgrade before the price hike and the changes to take place. Shortly after their PayPal account was limited and it took them 4 days to respond and inform members. So people were withdrawing with AlertPay for the time being. When they did finally make an announcement they encouraged people to file disputes with paypal. Nothing about Payza and ignored pleas as to what to do with Payza investments. With their slow response people started to file disputes with Payza. Then their Payza account was limited and now we are at where we are at today...Both PTCBox and MatrixMails are useless and ghost sites.

There is more to the story, but I wont write a book on it. You can read through this thread starting here:

(September 29, 2012)

Finally after 4 days of waiting the site posted an update. It is bad news...Their paypal is still limited and Payza cashouts are now disabled. Of course some of the members are calling for support and for everyone to petition PayPal. Unfortunately I don't think that will work for PTCBox since they have had a total of 4 different paypal accounts (if you include the ones that were limited with MatrixMails) Which might be one of many reasons why they are now limited...

Not showing limited, but was onced used to make payments from MatrixMails at one time:

Site will be moved to the Not Recommended List. They pretty much have indicated that this site will be a "ghost" site here soon. Much like MatrixMails:

Unfortunately, PtcBox's Paypal account has recently been limited by Paypal.

Paypal is the biggest payment processor and nearly all of the sales and payments are processed through Paypal. With the huge volume which PtcBox has reached, it will not be possible to survive, even for a short time. If we can not get our account back, PtcBox will eventually turn into a "ghost" web site and it will be remembered as a scam. Although it is still possible to get the account activated, the chances are low so instead of giving hope, we will have to accept the worst case scenario and make 3 very important calls regarding this matter before it's too late.

FIRST: As you know, once Paypal blocks an account, they will keep the balance for 6 months and then release it after 6 months. But 6 months is a very long time for PTC sites and who cares about money if PtcBox dies by then? This may come across as strange but we are calling everyone to open a dispute for us. Once again, please "OPEN A DISPUTE FOR ALL OF YOUR PURCHASES THROUGH PAYPAL". We can not withdraw the money but if you open a dispute they HAVE TO refund the money to customers even if we fail to reactivate the account. In this way at least the money will not stay in Paypal's bank account, and it will return to the members' accounts.

You can place a statement such as "Because the merchant's account has been limited, I want my money to be refunded" or alternative statements that come to the same effect.

SECOND: As of today, we've temporarily stopped selling advertisements and memberships.

THIRD: Do NOT promote your PtcBox referral links at other sites with "PAID ADVERTISEMENTS". Please do NOT spend any money to promote your referral links in any case. But if you have links which you don't have to pay money for, you can keep promoting your links.

Kind Regards,

www.PtcBox.com

Site paypal account is limited. So far no word from PTCBox about the limitation for the past two days. Site will be moved form the Ongoing Investigations List to the Watch List. I will give them till the start of next week to respond to the questions on their forum or make an update. If no update is made, their status will change and be moved to the  Not Recommended List. Will update when we know more

Site History

PTCBox fully launched on February 6, 2012. At PTCBox users get paid to click and complete offers. Note that the offers section is currently in testing mode. Many countries will not have any offers available to them. Site is currently paying without delay but it will not be eligible for the Legit List at this time. See "cons" for more info. For now the site will be added to the Ongoing Investigations List for at least 1 year.

Here are the pros and cons of this site:

  1. Instant Cashouts
  2. Paying  - see below for proofs
  3. An Established Owner
  4. Forum
  5. All Countries Accepted
  6. Unlimited Direct Referrals
  7. Fixed Cashout
  8. Registered Company

INSTANT Payments

Site is currently paying instantly for PayPal. However Payza may be manual as funds come in due to issues with Payza.
Paying and without delay. You can find proofs below.

Established Owner

Probably one of the main reasons why this site has received so much
attention. This is the same group that has ran MatrixMails. Which to
this day is currently paying since 2002.
This site does have a forum.

Forums are great for communication between members and staff.
Members can post payment proofs, get support, and stay up to date
on changes made to the site. You can find their forum here:

http://www.getpaidreview.com/forum.php
All Countries Accepted

Currently there are no restrictions however when they have issues
with hackers and DDoS attacks they will block certain areas for a period
of time. Ukrain was one of these countries that was blocked but they are no
longer blocked at this time.
No Direct Referral Limit

There are no limits on how many referrals you can have. Great for promoters and those
who can refer a lot of people.
Fixed Cashout

$2 is the set minimum cashout. From what we can see the minimum cashout will not
increase after your first cashout. Currently the cashout is set for $1 for first
3 cashouts, as a promotion that may end at any time.
A Registered Company

This does not insure the site will not scam, but it is positive step.
Note that there are sites that have registered and have gone scam.
So do not put too much faith in a site that is a registered company.
It is only a positive and that the owner might be serious about running his/her site.

New Site

We do not recommend investing or buying upgrades on new sites (excluding advertising).
For at least 6 months, if not a year. If you can't wait that long, at least
test and get paid first before you decide to invest.

The main reason why we see this as a downside is due to the large number of
new sites that go through many sudden changes during their first 6 months.
Changes anywhere from rates per click, payment processor issues (paypal limitations),
and payment wait times. New sites notorious for changing their terms.
Why we do not recommend investing on new sites.
See below for more info...

Poor Updates

Concerns & Criticisms

Lets start with the concerns. My main concern is how they are neglecting their sister site MatrixMails. The site is paying, but they have not done any improvements, no updates, and they are very slow at providing support for that site. The site is in decline and it has been this way since the start of PTCBox. Not only that but they take forever to approve ads. I have tried to advertise there and it took 4 days to get may ad approved! Think about it...would advertisers want to wait that long to have their ads displayed? Advertisers are important for a PTC site to have and I don't understand why they take so long to approve them on MatrixMails. Well, I might have some idea why. Most likely they are more concerned with running PTCBox. Which is not right in my view since they should never open more sites than what they can handle.

Also PTCBox is ignoring many pleas to make improvements. The site does not keep people updated on changes and people have to dig through the forum for updates and changes. You rarely see updates posted on the main news page. This is the first page users see when they log in. MatrixMails has the same problem. No update for over a year!

You can read some of these criticisms here:

http://www.getpaidreview.com/showthread.php?6933-MatrixMails-and-PTCBox-A-reality-check

The point I am trying to make is...

PTCBox is where it is at because of MatrixMails. In my opinion this site would not have received as much of attention without their good reputation running MatrixMails. But now with MatrixMails not being managed properly, it makes people wonder if PTCBox going to suffer the same fate as MatrixMails.

Fixed Ads

PTCBox has recently decided to switch to a new model where they show fixed ads to everyone. Many may find this to be a great change, however this can be unstable for a site to pay downline earnings and personal click earnings from these ads that are not being purchased. It has been tried with "bux" sites and it is not sustainable. While they are in a  testing phase, do not be surprised if they have to make adjustments. Because while it appears to be great for you now, it may prove to be a bad idea later on. Think about it, would you rather have a fast earning site that dies and have to close, or a stable site that stays for many years? I will let you decide but do not be surprised to see a major change when the site becomes unstable.

PayPal Limited

Looks like their PayPal account is limited. Which we feared would happen since their account was limited with MatrixMails.

Summary

Their PayPal & Payza account is limited. Site will be moved to the Not Recommended List since the site will most likely become another MatrixMails. Those of you who invested and are not in ROI, we would recommend you file a dispute to get your money back.

To sum up what happened to these two sites ....

Their solution, open another site under new company name and use their 10 year history and trust to draw in people to PTCBox.
