Site has been down for weeks. Now all the sudden a message is being displayed "This site has been closed." The forum link still works and loads, yet there is no announcement as to what has happened to the site. We are going to assume this site has been abandoned and will be moved to the Not Recommended List since no investment was was lost, only current account earnings and balances. Site may be considered a possible scam to many due to this loss. There is rumors as to why they site is closed. Might be up for sale:

PROS:
1. Forum - This site does have a forum. Forums are great for communication between members and staff. Members can post payment proofs, get support, and stay updated on changes made to the site. You can find their forum here: http://forums.thedollarpit.com/

3. Unlimited Direct Referrals - There are no limits on how many referrals you can have. Great for promoters and those who can refer a lot of people.
4. No Investment required - Some of my readers think that a ptc or gpt site is a great site if you can buy upgrades or referral packages. Although this way of thinking is the exact opposite of what these sites should be. This site has very little risk. All you risk losing is your time. They do not sell or offer upgrades or sell refs.

CONS:
1. Not for all countries - USA, Canada, and the UK only. Some GPT sites have a difficult time finding advertisers that are willing to target those in other countries. There is no use to have members from other countries to join if there are no offers available to them.

- Members prior to June 21st 2010 who have never cashed out on The DollarPit, have two options, you can loose your $3 signup bonus and cashout instantly once you've reached $5 ,or you may keep your $3 signup bonus and cashout at their previous minimum of $10. (Please submit a trouble ticket to let them know what you would like to do).
- 3 levels of referrals: Level 1 = 10%, Level 2 = 5%, Level 3 = 3%
- No Proxy servers. No AOL or NETSCAPE, or your account will be terminated.
